June Anderson

June (Drake) Anderson was born in rural Madrid to William and Elsie (Stevens) Drake. She passed away on July 7, at the Granger Nursing Home, Granger, Iowa. June graduated from Sheldahl School. In 1937 she married Darwin Anderson. They lived in the Madrid most of their married life.

June was an avid doll collector of Kewpie’s, Barbie’s and various others.

June was preceded in death by her spouse, parents and 8 siblings. She is survived by her sons Leroy, Keith, Robert, David, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren. Also 2 sisters, Donna (Drake) Nall of Slater and Joyce (Drake) Tingley, from Michigan and many nieces and nephews.
