Jere Scar

  Jere Scar, age 65 of Woodward, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at her home near Woodward, IA. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.   Jere Linn Scar was born on May 20, 1958, at Boone, IA to James David and Donna Lee (Sarver) Zenor. She attended Madrid High School. She was united in marriage to David Charles Scar in May of 2000 at Lake Robbins Ball Room. She worked at Resident Treatment Worker at Woodward Resource Center. She loved dogs, being on the farm, gardening, and walking outside.

  In death she rejoins her husband David Scar, parents James and Donna Zenor, and a brother, David Lee Zenor.

  Left to cherish Jere’s memory are her sons, Mike, Dan, and Tim Scar, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and brothers, Richar Zenor and Stephen Cummings-Chase.
