Joyce Bimbi

Joyce Elaine Bimbi, 83, passed away peacefully at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, IA, on Thursday, October 30, 2025. She was a resident of the Eastern Star Masonic Home since 2023 and had lived in Madrid, IA, for over 60 years.

She was born January 19, 1942, in Ames, IA, the daughter of Loyall and Mabel (Jenkins) Kitchen.She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Bimbi; her parents, Loyall and Mabel Kitchen; and her granddaughter, Melissa Neely.

Joyce is survived by her children, Lori (Phil) Jensen of Polk City, IA, David (Lana) Comstock, of Ames, IA, and John Bimbi of North Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Kelci Jensen, of Ames, IA, Sarah (Chris) Turbes of Pilot Mound, IA, and Justin Neely of Boone, IA; great-grandchildren, Madison and Olivia Neely of Boone, IA; and sister, Jean (Steve) Duffy of Boone, IA.

Per her request, no services are being planned.
