Beatrice Mae Bagatti, 93

 Beatrice Mae Bagatti, age 93, passed away on July 4, 2021 at the Bishop Drum Center in Johnston, Iowa.

Beatrice was born on May 24, 1928 to Sesto and Elizabeth (Lamberti) Fiori in Granger, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Granger Assumption schools. Beatrice was united in marriage with Lawrence Paul Bagatti at the Granger Assumption Catholic Church on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1953. They then created a home and raised a family in Madrid, Iowa.

Beatrice was a member of St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Madrid and worked in various roles at the Madrid Home for over 30 years. Her source of joy was her family and her ability to cook for them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence (December 18, 1996), sisters Lucy Fiori, Rose Flinn, Mary Fontana, Lily Morelli, brothers Peter Fiori, Matt Fiori, Ray Fiori, Gino Fiori, Leo Fiori, and Dominic Fiori.

Beatrice is survived by her children; Stephen (Mary) Bagatti of Madrid, Iowa, Camille (Mark) Jochimsen of Goodyear, Arizona, LuAnn (Gary) Thomas of Summerset, England, Chris (Diane) Bagatti of Madrid, Iowa, and Ann Marie Bagatti of Johnston, Iowa and one sister, Clara Vanni of Des Moines, Iowa.
